Combat Sports - Kung Fu

Chinese martial arts, popularised under the term kung fu and sometimes referred to as Chinese boxing, also known by the mandarin term wǔshù, are made up of hundreds of different styles of hand-to-hand or armed combat that developed in China over the centuries. Chinese martial arts have also been influenced by the various schools of thought and religions in China. Many styles were founded by groups of practitioners influenced by one of China's three main religions that practised hand-to-hand martial arts: Buddhism, Taoism and Islam.
