Winter Sports - Snowboarding

Snowboarding is a sport of sliding on snow. The equipment consists of a snowboard, a pair of bindings (there are several types of bindings) and a pair of suitable boots. The position on the board is similar to that of the skateboarder: in profile, the feet resting on a line across the board, one behind the other. In the course of time, snowboarding has split into three main branches which are now called : “freeride”, “alpine” and “freestyle”.
